Discerning culinary aficionados have embraced Sintoho, with the popular Asian #restaurant at Four Seasons #hotel Kuwait at Burj Alshaya fast becoming Kuwait City’s destination of choice for delectable Asian cuisine. The stylish rooftop eatery recently celebrated its first anniversary, following a highly successful first year in which it has rapidly ascended to take its place at the pinnacle of the local dining scene.

Enviably positioned on the Hotel’s 21st floor, #sintoho features tall floor-to-ceiling windows that frame breathtaking views of the city’s glittering skyline. The restaurant’s name is derived from an amalgamation of Singapore, Tokyo and Hong Kong – a moniker that reflects the exciting array of flavours guests are invited to explore within. Influences from these globally renowned #food capitals are apparent throughout the inventive fusion cuisine menu, and unite to bring diners a unique pan-Asian feast for the senses. Lovingly crafted by #chef de Cuisine #ronganxu, the extensive selection of dishes brings an authentic taste of the orient to Kuwait.

Diners at #sintoho can admire the artistry of Four Seasons culinary experts at seven live cooking stations, which include two teppanyaki counters, a robata grill, a dim sum station and a sushi bar. #chef Bobby Recto’s teppanyaki show is an especially popular spectacle, with diners looking on as he prepares a mouth-watering array of Asian specialities using the freshest ingredients. Meanwhile, Ji Hye Park-Haidi, the restaurant’s resident teaologist, brews up a refreshing assortment of artisan teas, including unique handcrafted 3D Matcha Lattes.

Conceptualised by Kokaistudios, an award-winning Venice-based design firm, the restaurant’s tasteful interior incorporates stone cladding accents, handcrafted partitions, attractive water pillars and tear-drop pendant lights. In the cool of the evening, diners can appreciate the stunning city views from the restaurant’s expansive open-air terrace.
