KOH Thai Kitchen & Bar at Four Seasons Resort Koh Samui Welcomes Chef Ton from Le Du Bangkok on August 3 and 4

Four Seasons Resort Koh Samui in association with Fine Dining Lovers by San Pellegrino and Acqua Panna is proud to present one of Thailand’s most talented young chefs, Thitid “Ton” Tassanakajohn of Le Du Bangkok.

After studying and working in New York, #chef Ton returned to Bangkok and in 2013 opened Le Du, which is ranked at #14 in Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants 2018.  The name Le Du derives from the Thai word for “season,” which also reflects Ton’s use of seasonal produce, along with local sustainable ingredients.

In this, Le Du is very much in tune with #fourseasonsresortkohsamui, located on the beach at the northwest tip of the island, and of KOH Thai Kitchen & Bar, which is set into the hillside, allowing diners the choice of plush residential-style seating indoors, or outdoors on the deck with a wide view of the ocean.

The menu #chef Ton is preparing at KOH Thai Kitchen & Bar includes local seabass with his own chilli paste, oysters with Thai rice wine, grouper with a chu-chee sauce made from fish and spices, a Southern Thai curry with crab and ant larvae, local dry-aged beef with cassia leaves, and a duck-egg custard.

Guests can get up close and personal with this master #chef over canapes, as he demonstrates a few of his signature dishes and cooking techniques.

The #Event is part of the Fine Dining Lovers Guest #chef Series initiated by San Pellegrino, designed to demonstrate how the finest natural mineral water can be used to enhance the greatest of dining experiences. This series brings renowned chefs to Thailand from top dining destinations around the world, and also showcases top chefs from Thailand’s own creative #restaurant scene.

Dinner on August 3 and 4, 2018 is priced at THB 2900++ and THB 3700++ inclusive of wine pairing. Afternoon tea on August 3, 2018 is priced at THB 1250++
