Blueside Emotional Design at HOMI 2016

Blueside Emotional Design presents an exclusive line of jewelry at #homi 2016: the eccentric transparency of these designer pieces play with the elegance that characterizes the purity of the material ... borosilicate glass.

Having created highly aesthetic and functional tableware and home accessories, the Umbrian company, specialized in hand crafting one of the world’s purest types of glass, now presents a collection of timeless jewelry. Blown glass is again the undisputed protagonist and becomes the key element in bracelets, necklaces and rings that radiate unique and refined taste, suitable for collectors and those passionate about design. Never before seen forms and combinations characterize each piece, repositories of Made in Italy know-how and a history of passion and competence.

In some of the pieces, the glass takes center stage, in others it’s a sober detail in cashmere necklaces or silk scarves, embellishing with its lightness and transparency.

From musical note shaped glass and hypoallergenic silver earrings (Minima and Chiave di Basso), to fanciful butterflies enriched with lengths of sumptuous fabrics to be changed according to the #event (Mariposa, Hook, Jam, Bone, Rino), to handcrafted, silver, unisex cufflinks featuring cabochons in colored glass (Lucille), to wraparound necklaces and bracelets in cashmere or silk with a blown glass bubble (Penelope and Sigalia), and finally buttons sewn onto a silver chain, transformed into unique jewelry (Benjamin), Blueside’s offer meets the most diverse tastes and needs, for her and for him. The new jewelry collection has been designed by Sara Guasticchi, Francesco Paretti, Monia Romanelli, Cristian Visentin and the Blueside R&D Department.

To accompany the jewelry collection, Blueside offers new proposals for the Dining line, which again surprise with their innovation and originality. Examples include a glass plate on wooden base with sand, designed to keep food at the right temperature, a set of four FLUX candles, with many available fragrances – including one specifically formulated to accompany the aromas of food – as well as a fine array of cigar-cases.
