Master Charcutier Gilles Verot Visits Four Seasons Hotel Toronto to Host Dinner at Café Boulud and Charcuterie Night at dbar

Master Charcutier Gilles Verot, the legend behind the most exquisite charcuterie programs around the world, visits Café Boulud and dbar at Four Seasons Hotel Toronto for two days only on March 23 and 24, 2015 for a special dinner and charcuterie night. Bringing his years of charcutier experience to Chef Daniel Boulud almost ten years ago, Gilles Verot designed the charcuterie programs in many of Boulud’s restaurants, including Café Boulud and dbar. Monday’s Charcuterie Night at dbar has become a popular event – where people from all over Toronto gather weekly from 5:00 to 10:00 pm to enjoy a charcuterie board and glass of wine for CAD 35. For one night only on March 23, guests will have the opportunity to “meat” the master and taste the items they have grown to know and love, in addition to warm specialities never previously offered. On Tuesday, March 24 at 7 pm, guests will have the opportunity to savour a three-course dinner menu at Café Boulud, designed exclusively by Gilles Verot and paired perfectly with Wine Director Drew Walker’s selections. Delectable items in the lofty Yorkville restaurant include a Provence-style chicken terrine made olive, tomato, zucchini and egg and quenelles de brochet made with pike in a nantua sauce. “I understand that the people of Toronto really love charcuterie and I am humbled that they have grown to really enjoy charcuterie night,” explains Gilles Verot in his quintessentially French accent. “I am very excited for this opportunity to showcase some more of my specialities and I hope they love those too!” To make a reservation for this special dinner at Café Boulud, call 416 963 6000 or book online. All prices listed exclude taxes and gratuity.
