Four Seasons #hotel Milano and Four Seasons #hotel Megève partner to offer guests the ultimate winter holiday, combining doorstep shopping into Milan’s vibrant Fashion District with an epicurean mountain experience in the glamorous French Alps.
Starting with a stay at #fourseasonshotelmilano, guests can immerse themselves into the birthplace of “Made in Italy” as they discover Milan, famous for its combination of cosmopolitan feel and Italian lifestyle.
The Hotel’s coveted location in the heart of the Fashion District provides immediate access to the world’s leading couture houses and best Italian tailors, making it the perfect location for Christmas shopping. Guests can indulge into the city’s festive spirit as they walk through the numerous boutiques with glittering window displays or stop for a cappuccino in one of the iconic coffee shops. The Hotel’s urban chalet designed by Artistic Director Vincenzo Dascanio has become a destination of its own for its spectacular Christmas décor, and the place of choice in the city to warm up around a delicious afternoon tea. For post shopping recovery, the Hotel’s Spa, built in a historical cellar dated from the 15th century, offers the best of skincare and includes an impressive swimming pool with original vaulted ceiling, while a short walk away from the #hotel through the famous Teatro alla Scala and Duomo will add a cultural and artistic touch to the experience.
After this immersion into the heart of Italy’s capital of fashion, guests can reach the enchanting French Alps through an easy 3.5 hour car ride with a SUV car rental provided by the Hotel’s car partner Joey Rent. The itinerary can be personalised by the Hotel’s Concierge Team based on guests' interests. Stops along the way may include visits of Turin, cradle of Italian finest products such as white truffle and red wines; Venaria Reale, famous for its magnificent 16th century royal palace; and the Middle-Age castles of the Aosta Valley.
Arrived in the heart of the French Alps, guests will pursue their dream winter holiday at #fourseasonshotelmegeve, surrounded by crystalline snow and pine trees, enjoying endless recreational options such as snowboarding, skiing, mountain biking and more than 100 groomed snow runs. They can enjoy an exciting dog-sledding expedition with a professional musher, departing from the #hotel, which will have its own sled dog pack located on site. Only a few minutes away, they can also try out snowmobiling in the fresh snow along the beautiful pine tree forest. A unique experience awaits on the first electric snowmobiles in France, whether guests want to ride solo, with their partner or as a family. At the #hotel, indoor lounge seating, a 900 square metre (9,700 square foot) spa, cosy fireside settings and outdoor terraces with views over the valley and mountains offer the perfect spots to relax and admire the stunning panorama. Three dining venues with panoramic views, including the two Michelin-starred restaurant Le 1920, feature both traditional French dishes and exceptional modern creations by Executive Chef Julien Gatillon. For those looking for a romantic moment, the #hotel can provide a “heli-safari” to the glacier at Les Diablerets in Switzerland, to enjoy a gourmet picnic with a breath-taking view.
The Four Seasons “Shop in - Ski out” winter getaway is available from November 15, 2018 to the end of February 2019, and can be organised from any of the two properties with custom-made itineraries by the Concierges.
