Tweetable Highlights:

On #worldfoodday, Kellogg Company and its global workforce are demonstrating their commitment to lead the global fight against hunger, with their hands, with their foods, and with a passion to feed children and families in need worldwide.

Their efforts are inspired by the Company's Breakfasts for Better Days™ global signature cause. The goal of this initiative is to create 3 billion Better Days for people in need. Kellogg and its employees will accomplish this goal by volunteering at local #food banks, working with nonprofit partners to help more kids in need have access to breakfast, donating #food destined for disaster sites and hunger relief programs, and by supporting programs for smallholder and women farmers to help them increase yields and income.

Through Breakfasts for Better Days, Kellogg will engage its employees in 45,000 volunteer days, and aims to inspire 300 million people in the fight against hunger by the end of 2025.

"One in nine people around the world goes to bed hungry every night, yet we know there is enough #food on this planet for everyone," said Kris Charles, Senior Vice President, Global #corporate Affairs, Kellogg Company. "Hunger is preventable, and our company, employees and charity partners are working together to help meet the challenge of hunger in communities around the world."
