After the successful Expo 2015, South Korea opens a Pavilion at Food Exhibition #tuttofood with a program full of events and innovative products, among which a four-handed cooking show with starred chefs such as Fabrizio Ferrari and 15 companies ready to enter the Italian market
Two years after the success of Expo, the South Korea Government, represented by Korea Agro Fisheries and Food Trade Corporation, belonging to the Korean Ministry of Agriculture, Food, and Rural Affairs, opens a new Pavilion at #tuttofood 2017, the Milan food exhibition, with the delights of Korean cuisine which could better meet the Italian taste, first of all the healthy and tasty seaweed chips that had caused long queues during the Expo.
During the #event, thanks to the cooperation with the Korean Cultural Center based in Rome, several events and cooking shows will take place, featuring Michelin-starred chef Fabrizio Ferrari and Korean chef Sun Young Koo, who will disclose the recipes devised for the Pyeongchang 2018.Winter Olympiads.
During the 4 days food festival there will be more cultural occasions as well, such as Korean calligraphy workshops.
Exports department director of Korea Agro-Fisheries and Food Trade Corporation said that “Italy is one of European countries with high barrier for foreign food and our biggest task is to overcome this barrier.” He also added that “We will promote excellence of Korean Food and analyze local market trends in order to enter the market with success by quality and visual differentiation.
